*KGA Brings Hope to Ghanaian Communities with Life-Saving Initiatives*

The Ghana Chapter of the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare Global Alumni (KGA) is making a significant impact in the country’s healthcare sector. At the chapter’s Annual General Assembly, National President Dr. Ralf Armah highlighted the various initiatives undertaken to strengthen healthcare in Ghana.

The chapter also launched a non-communicable disease campaign to promote wellness and health among Ghanaians. These initiatives demonstrate the chapter’s commitment to improving healthcare outcomes in the country.

*Partnership with KOFIH*

The Korea Foundation for International Healthcare (KOFIH) has been a key partner in the chapter’s efforts, providing opportunities for Ghanaian health professionals to participate in training programs in the Republic of Korea. The Dr. Lee Jong-wook Fellowship Programming has been instrumental in strengthening professional capacity and advancing healthcare delivery in Ghana.

*Commitment to Healthcare*

Mr. Bomim Yang, Country Representative of KOFIH, reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to supporting the Ghana KGA. “The fellowship is more than a training program – it’s a community that works together for a better health system in Ghana,” he emphasized.

*Looking Ahead*

The chapter plans to identify flagship activities and scale them up across the country. The Annual General Assembly provides a platform for the chapter to share progress, exchange ideas, and elect new executives to steer the affairs of the Alumni Association [1]. clinic at Nsawam where inmates received surgeries and eye screening.
