The Constituency Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Cape Coast North, Mr. Emmanuel Ebo Sabbah, has encouraged party delegates across the country to participate confidently in the party’s presidential primaries scheduled for Saturday, 31st January 2026.

Mr. Sabbah made these remarks in Cape Coast during a mandatory briefing organized by the Electoral Commission (EC) in collaboration with the security agencies for journalists who intend to cover the NPP presidential primaries in the constituency. The meeting focused on accreditation processes and security arrangements to ensure a smooth and peaceful conduct of the elections.

Addressing the media on the sidelines of the briefing, Mr. Sabbah expressed strong confidence in all the presidential aspirants contesting on the NPP ticket. He stated that any candidate chosen by the delegates would be capable of leading the country effectively.

He urged delegates to conduct themselves peacefully during the voting process and called for unity within the party after the primaries, stressing that cohesion would be crucial ahead of the 2028 general elections.

The Electoral Commission and the security agencies used the briefing to outline guidelines for media coverage, accreditation requirements, and security protocols aimed at maintaining law and order before, during, and after the primaries.

The NPP presidential primaries are expected to take place simultaneously across the country, with heightened security and media presence to ensure transparency and credibility of the process.

Coastal Television will continue to bring viewers comprehensive coverage of the NPP presidential primaries.
