NCCE Metro Director Cries Out Over Lack of Logistics

The Cape Coast Metropolitan Director of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), Mr. Joseph Abban, has disclosed that he has been in office for several months but is seriously constrained by the lack of essential logistics, particularly a vehicle, to effectively carry out his mandate.

Mr. Abban made this revelation during an interview on Morning Mix, a flagship programme on Coastal Television, hosted by Omar Bin Abdullah.

According to him, the absence of adequate logistical support has made it difficult for the Commission to reach communities across the metropolis to educate citizens on their civic rights and responsibilities, a core mandate of the NCCE.

Mr. Abban appealed to the appropriate authorities and stakeholders to support the Commission with the needed resources to enable it to function efficiently and deepen democratic participation at the grassroots level.

Coastal Television, which hosted the discussion, was recently adjudged Best Media House of the Year at the 6th Edition of the Osabarimba Royal Awards 2026, further affirming its commitment to informative and impactful public discourse.
