A member of the Central Regional Communication Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Nurideen Kobina Issah, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Regional Communication Officer for the Central Region when nominations are duly opened.

Mr. Issah made this known in a communiqué issued on April 1, coinciding with the celebration of his birthday, a move he described as symbolic of renewed commitment to the party and its communication front.

In a telephone interview with AsorbaMedia.com, he emphasized his long-standing dedication to the NDC and his extensive experience in political communication. According to him, he has spent over three decades actively engaged in politics, during which he has lived, worked, and practiced strategic communication within the party.
He noted that his decision to contest is driven by a desire to strengthen the party’s communication machinery in the region and to contribute meaningfully to its growth and electoral success.
“My 30 years of active involvement in political communication and dedication to duty have equipped me with the needed experience to effectively serve in this role,” he stated during the phone conversation.
Mr. Issah further highlighted his grassroots connection and deep understanding of the party’s structures as key assets he intends to leverage if given the mandate. He also called on party members to rally behind experienced and committed individuals to enhance unity and progress within the NDC.
His declaration is expected to intensify competition for the regional communication position as the party prepares for its internal elections in the coming months.
