Some Electoral Area Coordinators in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Cape Coast North Constituency have expressed their support for Madam Cecilia Koufie, popularly known as Nana Amissah, ahead of the constituency’s chairperson election.
According to the coordinators, they are committed to voting for Madam Koufie because they believe her leadership style is founded on honesty, courage and integrity, qualities they say are needed to reposition the party for victory in the 2028 general elections.
The supporters praised what they described as her willingness to speak the truth even when it is difficult, citing one of her recent remarks: “The truth hurts, it is bitter, and it is sour, but it remains the truth.”
They described the statement as a philosophy that reflects the qualities of a good leader and commended her for demonstrating boldness and remaining principled in addressing issues affecting the party.
The coordinators further stated that they believe Cecilia Koufie possesses the courage to make difficult decisions and provide honest leadership, which they say will strengthen the NPP in the Cape Coast North Constituency ahead of the 2028 elections.
They therefore appealed to delegates to support and vote for Cecilia Koufie, also known as Nana Amissah, as the next Chairperson of the NPP Cape Coast North Constituency, expressing confidence that her leadership would help unite the party and prepare it for future electoral success.
